About the company
Since the original Concordia was established in the year 1833, our industry has changed immensely. Some things remained constant such as our attention to quality and our care for those who use our products.
Since 1962 the plant has been a part of the Slovak Magnesite Works (SMZ). The company was founded in 2015 with the aim of continuing the metallurgical and engineering tradition in the region.
Since 2021 the foundry has been operating in Plešivec. The company’s production program includes the production of castings from grey cast iron and other metals, the production of steel components and machining. The goal of the current management is to continue the production of high-quality castings and to enter new markets thanks to progressive technologies.

Products and services
We currently offer our customers the following manufacturing services: metal casting, CNC and conventional machining, metal fabrication and wood processing.
The foundry
The foundry specializes in small to medium series. Currently, it produces grey and ductile iron castings up to 500 kg and steel castings up to 300 kg. Production capacity is 1500 tons per year. The serial production ranges from one piece to 50 000 castings.

MACHINING
The company is engaged in metalworking. We produce spare parts and components based on technical documentation. We use the latest CNC machines as well as conventional technologies in production.
